About:

The background: A graphic designer for nearly two decades, I've worked in areas of corporate identity, branding, entertainment and non-profit. Projects range from design props for movies, animations and re-brandings (Numerous UCLA logos, including the UCLA Alumni Association, UCLA Main Campus anniversary logo, UCLA Events, UCLA Vending, with applications ranging from a from the Rose Bowl football field to a piece of letterhead.)

The current: I am currently most interested in web development in the areas of user experience, branding and the design area of sustainability.

I studied design at UCLA (BA and MFA in Design | Media Arts), and now program classes at UCLA Extension, where I am the Program Director of Visual Arts, which includes Design Communication Arts, Art History, Studio Arts, and Photography. I also occasionally teach classes in design, speak at media conferences, and stay highly active in the design community, most notably with AIGA, where we have one of the largest student chapters in Los Angeles.
